I have so much to say and no words to express it. This is my best friend, Claire. And her best friend/sweetheart/boyfriend, Rob. Michael and I travelled to New York City to meet the pair for their NYC In Love Portrait Session this May. Not far from where Claire grew up in New York, we popped on the subway and went to Brooklyn Bridge Park and Jane’s Carousel to photograph their portrait session. You don’t need to be engaged or married for a reason to take fun photos. And you never need a reason to spend time with the love of your life.
We spent a few days together site-seeing, laughing, and eating everything amazing New York had to offer. From all the places we visited – National History Museum, Central Park, Hell’s Kitchen, and more – we decided to do their session in at the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
She’s my friend, one of the top professional photographers in the Southeast, and my mentor. This woman is insanely talented, crazy gorgeous, and undeniably the most driven person I have ever met. I am honored to call her my friend. Today is Claire’s birthday. I couldn’t think of a better way to wish her warm wishes than photographs of her beautiful smile and the man who sparks it. Check out their In Love Portrait Session….
This one is for me. Because Rob. Love you, man. 😀
